Fitting Instructions:
- Before using ear plugs, ensure hands are clean. Roll earplugs between fingers to compact foam.
- Pull top of ear up and out while inserting earplug. This straightens out the ear canal. Insert ear plug as far as possible into the ear canal. Hold for approx. 60 seconds to allow foam to expand.
- When ear plugs are inserted correctly the top of the ear plug should be as per fig 4. To test fit cup both hands over your ears. When you pull them away you should notice a significant difference in noise levels. If unsure consult your safety officer.
Warning: Earplugs should be worn all times in noisy surrounding and be fitted prior to entering the noisy area. If instructions are not followed the function and protection may be severely impaired. Earplugs must be fitted, adjusted and maintained in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. These earplugs, when fitted with a connecting cord, should not be used where there is a risk that the cord could be caught up during use.
Maxisafe Comfortlite Corded Earplugs have the same design as the Howard Leight Laser Uncorded Earplugs, LL-30, but carry a higher SLC80 of 26dB.
