The Maxisafe Koolguard 5/6 Microporous Coveralls are designed to protect workers from a range of hazardous substances, products and processes. They are typically used in situations where cleanliness and hygiene are critical for protection from fine particles, liquid splashes or fine spray providing a physical, throw away barrier that is cost effective and doesn’t require decontamination. The coveralls meet the applicable European Standards for Chemical Protective Clothing, Category III.
The coveralls are made of a two-layer, microporous laminated fabric that provides a fluid and particulate barrier. The fabric is water vapor permeable and water repellent, allowing for breathability and comfort. The coveralls also feature a two-way zipper and lint-free design, making them easy to put on and take off. The tough, durable fabric ensures that the coveralls can withstand the rigors of the workplace, while the outstanding comfort, breathability, and softness make them comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.
The coveralls are anti-statically treated and offer electrostatic protection according to EN 1149-1. The batwing sleeve design allows for greater freedom of movement, and the coveralls are available in sizes M to 5X Large. The coveralls come in cartons of 25 and are white in colour.
Examples of where the Koolguard coveralls would be used are: when mixing, transporting or handling chemicals; for visitors to a sterile area such as a food manufacturing facility; or when removing asbestos contaminated building materials.
