Privacy Policy – Xtreme

Xtreme Products respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it, consistent with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

  • Contact and order details: name, business name, email, phone, delivery and billing addresses, and order history.
  • Payment information: processed securely by our payment providers Stripe and Paypal. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Trade account information: where you apply for a credit account, the information in your credit application, including trade references and credit history.
  • Website usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring site, collected through cookies and analytics tools.

Why we collect it

To process and deliver your orders, assess and manage trade account applications, provide customer service and warranty support, send order updates, comply with our legal and tax obligations, and — where you have opted in — send you product news and offers.

Marketing

We only send marketing emails to people who have opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by contacting us.

Who we share it with

• our payment provider, to process payment
• our IT and website service providers, under confidentiality obligations
• manufacturers and suppliers, where needed to fulfil an order or process a warranty claim
• credit reporting bodies and trade references, where you have applied for a credit account
• debt recovery agents, where an account is in default
• government agencies, where required by law
We do not sell your personal information.
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in New Zealand, the United States and the European Union. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
