The Guy Cotten ALTA Jacket is the newest to the Guy Cotten range! A comfortable, lightweight and supple waterproof jacket made from Guy Cotten’s iconic yellow oilskin PVC.
The Guy Cotten Alta Jacket is a premium, lightweight, and waterproof outerwear designed for professionals working in harsh environments. Weighing just 785g (size L), it’s the lightest jacket in the Guy Cotten range, making it ideal for those who need full mobility without compromising on protection. Featuring 100% high-frequency welded seams and chemical-resistant fabric, it’s perfect for marine workers, commercial fishermen, and anyone exposed to extreme weather or hazardous materials.
The jacket’s thoughtful design includes neoprene cuffs to prevent water ingress, a heavy-duty YKK zipper hidden behind a double flap for added durability, and hidden stainless steel press studs for secure fastening. Its adjustable drawstring hood with a visor provides additional protection from wind and rain. Constructed from a single layer of PVC-coated polyester fabric with an inside jersey to reduce condensation, the Alta Jacket remains flexible even in cold weather.

About Guy Cotten Glentex Fabric:
The Alta Jacket is made from medium duty Glentex fabric. Glentex is a strong and supple fabric, designed to be lightweight and flexible, while still offering 100% waterproof protection. Ideal for marine, leisure, farm and agricultural uses, the Glentex fabric is Guy Cotten’s most popular fabric, available in a range of jackets, bib & braces and pants. Glentex fabric is chemical resistant. Very supple, coated on one side. The incredible suppleness of a coated high-performing textile. Total weight : 320g/m²
The assembled parts are high frequency welded, guaranteeing a fully waterproof garment. Glentex has a waterproofness rating of 20,000mm (Class 4), and a breathable rating of Class 1.
