About Guy Cotten Glentex Fabric

The Chinook Smock is made from medium duty Glentex fabric. Glentex is a strong and supple fabric, designed to be lightweight and flexible, while still offering 100% waterproof protection. Ideal for industrial, marine and food processing uses, the Glentex fabric is Guy Cotten’s most popular fabric, available in a range of jackets, bib & braces and pants. Glentex fabric is chemical resistant.

Composition: Polyester backing (65g/m²), One-sided PVC coating (255g/m²). Total weight: 320g/m²

The assembled parts are high frequency welded, guaranteeing a fully waterproof garment. Glentex has a waterproofness rating of 20,000mm (Class 4), and a breathable rating of Class 1.
